Barking Hound Village Foundation Rescue (BHVF Rescue) is a Georgia non-profit corporation with 501(c)3 status.
Our mission is to save the lives of lost, abandoned, and unwanted dogs in Fulton County that have been passed over by local adopters. We encourage on and off-site adoptions, work closely with other rescue groups, and assist owners in locating lost dogs. BHVFR works with rescue groups across the US to find homes for these amazing dogs that simply need a second chance.
BHVFR takes dogs that are down on their luck and prepares them for adoption into new loving families. The specific services provided include full veterinary exams and vaccinations, spaying or neutering, 14 day quarantine/monitoring, socialization with other dogs and individuals, and addressing all medical issues. After they are happy, healthy, and a little wiser BHVFR places the dogs on their website for rescues to see. Once a rescue is found and approved the dog is transported in style by plane, train, or automobile to his/her new family.
