Most things get better with age and Giovanni is no exception. At 10 years old, this gentleman is one old dog you can definitely teach new tricks! Don't let that greying chin fool you; not only is he smart and spunky, but he is a sucker for a game of fetch and will chase a ball just as well as any of those young kids. He is especially spry for his age and is a great walking partner too (he behaves very well on-leash). Gio is a self-confessed ladies man and prefers the company of girl dogs. He is a real people person, happiest to just sit and lounge with his companion. He is fiercely loyal to his family, welcoming of any new face and a devoted and affectionate friend. Giovanni is a modest guy but he has let on a couple of times that he would love nothing more than a loving home in which to retire peacefully with a family who loves him for exactly what he is.

Giovanni has been with BHVFR for a full year now.  He has learned many tricks and made many friends.  Until he finds his his forever home he is part of our big BHVFR family. Thanks to our friends at ABO, Gio has a job as a toy tester! To lean more about "rescue tested" click here.
